It is overwhelming. It is horrific. Research shows we are less able to engage when more people are attacked, especially when attacks are particularly horrific.

Your response is natural, but you can send an email and share the message in 3 minutes. A tiny moment of your day makes you part of the movement against the deliberate starvation of children. You will help people you know to stand in solidarity, building a community who demand our government follow international law and stop genocide.

You’ve taken action because you care about children; you realise deliberate starvation can never be justified. But you feel awkward about sharing with others. By sharing this message you’re helping people to take action, to be part of the solution. Anyone receiving this message has been identified as the sort of person who will refuse to look away, who will stand in solidarity against a genocide.

Congratulations, people think you’re the sort of person who takes action to stop children being starved. And you know people who also take action - this is great! You might reply that you’ve already taken action… or check in case there’s anyone else you can share the message with.

Multiple messages show how connected we are. Even better it’s a sign that our movement is working and we are reaching more people.

Unless you have a time machine the best time to take action is now. It’s never too late to take action to protect the most vulnerable in society, and the human rights of all. The horrors in Gaza are almost unimaginable, it can feel overwhelming.

Western media only shows a fraction of what Palestinians have been reportied for over 3 years. You’ve seen the images, the lies and justifications. You can take action now to call for an end to this genocide

The primary purpose of this movement is enabling people to take their first action for Palestine. People may feel uncertain about writing to their MP to demand action, so the wording has been kept deliberately low-key in the hope of getting the maximum number of emails sent.

But MPs work for you! So if you feel able to be more assertive, either amend the text or click the ‘Email Now’ box at the top of the page for Humanti’s brilliant email.

It’s never too late to take action to save a child.

We need to stand in solidarity and support all of the incredible Palestinian men and women. The medics, the journalists, the humanitarian workers, the old, the young… all have gone through unimaginable horrors, all deserve your support. But starvation affects the smallest and most vulnerable first. Children who should be growing will alway suffer most severely.

Starving children can never be justified. Hopefully you will take more actions supporting Palestine, but everyone can take 3 minutes to stand against the starvation of children.

Absolutely true that the situation is awful, but that is why each and every one of us needs to do what we can. If everyone contacts their MP and shares the message, UK government cannot ignore us. We are not saving or rescuing Palestinians - we are calling on our government to take action to stop war crimes.

Our government must take action to stop supporting genocide, ethnic cleansing, illegal occupation, deliberate targeting of schools, hospitals, civilians… and countless other war crimes committed by Israel.

This is a humanitarian action in response to a deliberate and man-made crisis. By taking action you will be joining the countless Jewish people and groups standing in solidarity with Palestine. Israel constantly claims any criticism of them is antisemitic - even as they publicly state plans to ethnically cleanse Palestine.

Antisemitism is real and must be challenged wherever it occurs. It is not antisemitic to take action against deliberate starvation of children, genocide, apartheid and other crimes against humanity.

This website is a work in progress. The people of Gaza don’t have time for it to be perfected. We need to get people taking action now, but if you can help with any ideas, improvements or suggestions, please get in touch!

You can send me an email by clicking here.

3 Minute Action provides a way for people who are feeling overwhelmed, who have never taken action, to stand against the deliberate starvation of children. The message is as simple and inclusive as possible for first actions.

If this is your first action, welcome. If you’re here because you want people you know to take action, that’s great. It has never been more urgent for everyone to do whatever they can to support Palestine and end the genocide.

We must all be guided by Palestinians - by their wisdom and lived experience. A resources page will be added - suggestions for improving this gratefully received.

Hopefully taking action will inspire you to learn more about Palestine and its incredible people.

This campaign is being relaunched - please invite collaborations! Every effort has gone into getting this website live and sharing the message so people can take action. People on social media are more likely to already have taken action - we need to reach everyone.

Please share widely and tag @3minuteaction.

‘Zionism—the founding and current ideology that manifested in the State of Israel—took root in the era of European colonialism and was spread in the aftermath of the Nazi genocide. Zionism has been nourished by the most violent and oppressive histories of the nineteenth Century, at the expense of the many strains of Jewish commitment to liberation. To reclaim them, and a place in the vibrant popular movements of our time, Zionism, in all its forms, must be stopped.’ (Charter of the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network, 2015)

Judaism is a religion and a cultural identity, while Zionism is a political ideology focused on Jewish nationalism and statehood. Zionists may be Jews, Hindus, atheists and even some Muslims.

Israel claims to act on behalf of Jews. This is not true. Jewish people have been at the forefront of fighting Zionism for many decades.

In addition to attacking people and any remaining buildings, Israel severely restricts essential aid including food and medications.

The ongoing siege means that malnutrition is ‘normal’ in Gaza. Israel continues starving children and adults to death and highly limits what is allowed in. Even peanut butter, a calorie dense protein food essential for refeeding starving people, is banned from Gaza.

Israel has only ever allowed people in Gaza to receive a fraction of minimum essential aid they are legally required to provide to land they occupy.

Israel has launched daily lethal attacks on Palestinians since 2023. The promised ceasefire in October 2025 never happened. Attacks on civilians continue to target children, healthcare workers and journalists. Although some food was allowed to enter, it was only a fraction of what is needed.
