The UK government know the overwhelming majority of people are appalled by Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. UK statements do nothing to get food to more than 1 million children being starved. Widely publicised UK sanctions affect only 1% of UK-Israel trade. UK government continues supplying arms, military training and live surveillance to Israel as it drops 200lb bombs on occupied schools, hospitals and churches.

As Israel continues to bomb and starve children, action, not words, are needed. We must stand in solidarity to protect all Palestinian lives. Take action now to stop the UK government enabling the genocide.

Dear Mr/Ms (MP name),

I am writing to you about the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the increasingly dangerous situation for civilians - including more than one million children. We have now passed the one-year anniversary of the Gaza “ceasefire”, yet a Palestinian is killed or wounded by Israel every 79 minutes. Following the anniversary, an Israeli fighter jet (made with British-made parts) bombed the Al-Sawafiri family home, killing an 8-year-old boy, Hussam, along with a 54-year-old woman named Intisar. Nine others were wounded.

Since the so-called “ceasefire” agreement took effect on 10 October 2025, 1,471 Palestinians have been killed and 5,189 wounded in Israeli attacks. Amnesty International and more than 100 other organisations count at least 327 children among the dead, close to one a day.

Right now, Israel keeps its troops inside Gaza, expands the territory it controls, kills people near a line it draws and moves, and decides what aid and shelter may enter. This false label of “ceasefire” silences the ongoing violence and oppression of an entire population. Israel expanded its illegal military occupation of Gaza to over 70% of Gaza as announced in the Israeli press in May 2026. Gaza was overcrowded and described as an ‘open air prison’ long before October 2023. Since the genocide Israel has created an invisible line around over 70% of Gaza they now occupy.

Ending this suffering means confronting the occupation and apartheid, the ideology that sustains them, and the institutions and propaganda that allow Israel to continue its crimes.

It is essential that the UK government exerts pressure to see justice. I call on you to:

  • Impose full, comprehensive sanctions on Israel – not solely settlements

  • Enforce a complete two-way trade embargo, ending all import and export activity

  • Immediately end all arms sales and intelligence cooperation, including the supply of F35 parts and lethal drones

  • Ensure unimpeded access for aid and humanitarian organisations across Palestine

  • Demand an end to the illegal occupation
